For full details visit the disclosures page. Stay well clear this mattress is in so many words crap after the first year the mattress collapsed on the sides and had a hump in the middle that caused us to have aches and pains and very little sleep, now we reported to Nector and they sent a person to do a test which I found laughable, however, he did agree that the mattress had failed and we got a replacement months after.Editor’s Note: This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a commission if you make a purchase using these links. we did turn the mattress around which did help for a short while but the issue repeated itself within a short while. Now the first few months we believed we were getting better night sleeps but did start to notice after 3 months what we called a hump in the middle of the bed we joked about at first but then realised this hump was pushing us closer and closer to the edge which in turn made the hump even worse and now seem like a hill. If you are thinking of buying one of these mattresses I urge you to look elsewhere as, in my case and a number of others on here, they do not appear to last as long as they should. The mattress is no longer fit for purpose and after 18 months we are going to need to buy another mattress. I pointed out the report is inaccurate and inconsistent but they will not budge. Nectar are refusing to do anything about this and just refer back to the report and hide behind the findings there. The report is covered in "invalid claim" and "no faults found" which is totally wrong and very disingenuous considering what was said when he was here and also the fact that he doesn't have to try to sleep on it! Yes, the mattress appears flat so there is no visible dipping, but the material underneath has become so soft as to create this ridge issue. In fact, there are inconsistencies on the technicians report itself! The overall stating that the "lay test showed the mattress is fully supportive" whereas, at the bottom he says there is some softening also, when he was actually carrying out the test, he said to me "I can feel the ridge and you're definitely laying at an angle.

Nectar sent a technician from a company called Homeserve to inspect the mattress but, apparently, all measurements are within tolerance and so a replacement is not needed.

This has got worse over the last couple of months to the point now where, when we lay down we are at an angle compared to the ridge in the middle consequently, we can't lay flat as you feel like you're going to fall out of bed and we have developed shoulder pain from trying to compensate. After 15 months we noticed that the areas where we lay started to become a bit softer which then creates a ridge in the middle (something I notice a number of people have complained about). Mattress doesn't last and then hide behind "independent assessment" report
